ALL TOURS DEPARTING FROM
MELBOURNE
1. WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?
Some tours include meals and Bed and breakfast accommodation. All tours are
different, please contact us for specific information on each tour.
2. DEPARTURE POINT
All tours depart from Melbourne. Contact us for your nearest departure point.
3. WHAT TO BRING
On all tours the clothing is casual. Clothing requirements vary between tours. Winter tours south of the Tropic of
Capricorn require warm clothing for nights. Day temperatures vary. A tracksuit and bathers are handy, also thongs
and hardy footwear. A torch is necessary. Luggage should be kept to a minimum, one medium-size suitcase. Hand
luggage should be no more than a small airways bag. Depending on the time of year or the quality of your sleeping
bag you may need a rug as well.
4. MEALS
On our safari tours, our cook provides very fine meals. Other tours allow you the opportunity to dine at various
restaurants Australia has to offer.
5. BOOKING
Bookings can be made by contacting us by email, phone, fax, letter, or personally. Bookings need to be made a
minimum of one month before the travel date. Book early so you dont miss out!
6. YOUR HEALTH
We have no age limit or health standard for our tours. We do however trust to your good sense. We ask, if you are
elderly or have recently had a serious illness, to consult your doctor to see if you are fit to journey into the
Outback on a camping or cabin tour. Since taking you into remote areas of Australia involves quite a responsibility
we ask that you inform us of any medical condition that you feel we should know
of. Because of the variety of temperatures encountered on the tour and the fact that you travel in close confinement with other people you may
consider having a flu injection before departure, particularly on winter tours.
7. TRAVEL INSURANCE
A full insurance scheme is available which is designed to protect you from any expenses should you or a member of
your family take ill whilst on tour. Details are available when booking.
8. SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted on the coach. However, on days of travel, stops are made mid-morning, lunch and
afternoon.
